State Aids Promotion Guide

The State Aids Introductory Guide has been prepared for our Local Administrations, Non-Governmental Organizations, Private Sector and Nation to benefit from government supports. Its purpose is to inform about the economic and social state supports provided by our Institutions of the Republic of Turkey and to provide a roadmap about the resources they can apply to. The information in the guide has been compiled in line with the information received from the Institutions of the Republic of Turkey, and the institutions are listed alphabetically. The State Aids Promotion Guide contains brief information about each funding institution, important information about the program and the application process, requested application documents, and websites and contact addresses that contain more detailed information. In our country, the motivation of each institution in providing funds is different and this motivation may change according to the mission of the institution and developments in Turkey and in the world. Therefore, accessing up-to-date information from the websites of the institutions is the safest way to be preferred when turning to these resources. In case the information on the website is not up-to-date, up-to-date information can be requested from the e-mail addresses of the institutions given for communication. Our expectation with this Guide; It is a useful resource that enables local governments, NGOs, private sector and individuals to develop resources and realize projects and activities prepared in line with their goals. Ministry of Foreign Affairs It was established as the General Secretariat for European Union (EUGS) under the Prime Ministry with the Law No. 4587 dated 27 June 2000, in order to direct the coordination and harmonization in the works to be carried out by public institutions and organizations in Turkey's preparation for EU membership, in accordance with the plans and programs. The duties and responsibilities of the Ministry are determined by the Decree Law No. 634 on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry for European Union Affairs. Within the scope of the aforementioned Decree, the Ministry for EU Affairs, without prejudice to the provisions of the "Law on the Execution and Coordination of International Relations" dated 5 May 1969 and numbered 1173, directing the studies to be carried out for Turkey's preparation for EU membership,www.mfa.gov.tr City Twinning Grant Scheme Between Turkey and EU ABOUT THE PROGRAM: City Twinning Grant Program aiming to create sustainable structures between local governments in Turkey and EU member countries. Within the scope of the grant program with a total budget of 2.6 million Euros, support will be given to projects aiming to strengthen sister city relations between Turkey and EU local governments and the role of local governments in the EU integration process. A grant of at least 60 thousand Euros and a maximum of 130 thousand Euros will be provided for projects to be jointly developed by municipalities, special provincial administrations, local administration unions (municipal unions other than TBB), governorships and district governorships from Turkey and local administrations from EU member states. ABOUT APPLICATION: The call for proposals was published on 4 January 2018. Project applications must be submitted to the Central Finance and Contracts Unit https://www.ab.gov.tr/ until 23 March 2018, 17:00 . PRIORITY AREAS: Establishing city twinning relations and/or deepening existing relations between EU Member States and local administrations/administrations in Turkey, Reinforcing the role of local administrations/administrations in the process of EU integration and the development of EU-Turkey relations, in line with the EU acquis chapters and/or the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals and the priorities of the European Council of Municipalities and Regions (CEMR). DETAILED INFORMATION: https://www.ab.gov.tr/ CONTACT: +90 312 218 13 00 Turkey – EU Intercultural Dialogue Grant Scheme ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Turkey-EU Intercultural Dialogue Grant Program aiming to develop intercultural dialogue, cooperation and communication between Turkey and the EU in the field of culture and arts. Within the scope of the Turkey-EU Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance 2014-2020 (IPA II), the Grant Program under the Civil Society Sector, of which the Ministry for EU Affairs is the leading institution, will be carried out by Yunus Emre Institute . Projects to be developed by EU Cultural Institutes, members of EUNIC (European Cultural Institutes Network), will be supported with a minimum of 300 thousand and a maximum of 500 thousand Euros , provided that they work in partnership with an NGO and/or university from Turkey. In other words; The applicant will be EU Institutes of Culture, member of EUNIC. An NGO and/or university from Turkey must be included in the project proposal as a co-applicant . Grant program with a total budget of 2 million euros ABOUT APPLICATION: The call for proposals was published on 20 February 2018. Project applications must be submitted to the Central Finance and Contracts Unit at https://www.ab.gov.tr/ until April 10, 2018, 17:00 . PRIORITY AREAS: Develop and implement long-term, multilateral/multinational joint cultural initiatives between Turkey and the EU to contribute to common understanding. It will support projects aiming to increase the visibility of the civil society dialogue between Turkey and the EU in Turkey and EU member states. The following thematic areas will be conducted in thematic areas such as music, opera, performing arts, plastic and visual arts, graphic arts, public art, traditional art, digital art, literature, urban culture, cinema, documentary, animation, architecture, folk culture, cultural diplomacy, history . such projects will be supported.
